Eric Law is an award winning cellist, composer, and music producer. Widely regarded as “a unique voice on his instrument” and “better than Yo-Yo Ma at something,” Eric has graced stages at the country’s most iconic centers, including Lincoln and Kennedy. He has also played opera houses in Boston and Paris, a barn in Wichita, and in front of a very large rock in Moab. Eric is a winner of the ASTA Eclectic String Festival competition, and his compositions have been published, even selling some copies. As a Berklee grad, he boasts the release of and involvement in tens of recordings across genres as a writer, performer, producer, and music school cliché; he has been called a “musical Frankenstein,” which is probably a compliment. He has extensively collaborated with the Boston Ballet without any real talent for dancing. His wry humor and unfortunate connection to being a person have garnered him respect from high profile friends and collaborators, some of which are very good. Originally from the Western Slope of Colorado, he has a mustache and has worn Carhartt apparel unironically since way before it was cool.
